About Tulsa Dog Trainer Rebecca Bogdan
Transforming Tulsa dogs from misbehaving to amazing so they can enjoy more of life with their families.
Training Tulsa's Dogs Since 2004.
I’ve spent two decades loving and transforming the most unruly, disobedient, and hard-headed dogs and puppies into well-mannered, polite companions.
After training, their owners can enjoy having their dog around more, even with guests, on walks, with their kids, and out in public.
And the best part is, the dogs were happier for it, too! (Video proof below.)
Talk with me (not a call center) to get your free dog training consultation.
What type of dog training Tulsa do you prefer?
I want my dog to learn rock-solid obedience.
I want my puppy to live in a trainer's home for intensive training.
I want to train and socialize my puppy at home with a trainer.
I want to train my dog at my home, on my schedule.
From ankle-biting Chihuahuas to hyperactive Labradoodles
Owners are pleasantly surprised—sometimes shocked, actually!—when they see what their lovingly trained dogs do, oftentimes weeks and months faster than their owners expected.
That’s because now they can!
Enjoy walks with their dog without them pulling down the street, barking, lunging, or going crazy anymore... and they can pass by other dogs or critters instead of avoiding them.
Host dinner or game night without getting embarrassed when their dog jumps on on everyone, begs for food, or harasses your guests (especially that one friend who doesn't like dogs)... without needing to make them stay on their “place” bed the whole time like many trainers recommend.
Answer the door and trust they won't have to hold their dog back to retrieve a delivery off the porch or chase after them in pajamas when they bolt out the door.
Tell their dog to “be quiet!” and their dog actually listens instead of barking out the window or whatever sets them off.
Call their dog and know they will come back every time, even in the face of whatever they take off after like squirrels, dogs, cats, and people (yes, even off leash or in the backyard)
Whether we do puppy training Tulsa at your home, they stay with me like family, or we work together closely to train your dog, I’ll show you exactly how to sustain all the benefits of training.
For me, it all started when I trained my first dog, Duke, in 2004…
(Yes, that’s an actual Polaroid photo taken before they became trendy again.)
I’ve paid tens of thousands of dollars and traveled all over the country on my own dime to learn countless training techniques and methods…
But lighting my money on fire would have been a better use of it.
Very little of what I learned actually addressed and resolved dogs’ issues at their core, which is what leads to lasting improvement instead of masking problems.
The way I train dogs forever changed once I learned these powerful concepts to eliminate behavior problems and teach bulletproof dog obedience training in Tulsa.
The results of every other approach I'd utilized in the past paled in comparison
…and my clients were left astounded at how quickly their dog learned to listen to them and problematic behaviors decreased or went away entirely.
Especially those who were told by other trainers that it would take months or even years to maybe get results.
Now, after training with me your dog isn’t going to be jumping out of helicopters or rescuing people from burning buildings…
But you will have reliable control of them. They’ll be responsive and obedient to you when you need it.
They’ll also know when they’re free to be a dog, just without doing the things that get them in trouble.
If you’re like most people I know, you’re not a dog trainer and don’t want to live a “dog trainer lifestyle.”
So what is the secret that makes even the most stubborn dogs listen to you when it matters most... without needing to micromanage them forever like 99% of dog trainers suggest?
The power is in its simplicity: leverage your dog’s nature and abilities to work for you, instead of fighting an uphill battle against their instincts forever.
A lot of other trainers depend on bribes or suppression.
But in doing so, dogs must stay “under threshold” and “engaged” (industry jargon for constantly calm and focused on you) to prevent training from falling apart when dogs get distracted or excited.
Imagine never being able to get fired up or truly express yourself about anything ever again. Or even let your attention wander.
Would you ask the same for your dog?
(If you said ‘yes,’ I’m probably not the best trainer for you.)
This may be a surprise:
Successfully resolving your dog’s behavior problems or teaching obedience and manners shouldn’t take months or years to achieve when you can instead get it done in a fraction of the time.
Learning happens INCREDIBLY FAST when you do things right. And my Tulsa dog training reviews speak for themselves.
With all of that said… I don’t know what you’ve already tried to resolve the struggles you’re having with your dog.
But I am certain of this after two decades of training dogs.
Dogs rarely grow out of their problems.
In my experience, they grow into them. Even fully mature adult dogs, but especially puppies and adolescents.
That means you can’t just wait… and “hope for the best.”
I’ve lost count of the dog owners who want my help but then decide to do nothing and keep struggling with their dog’s issues.
They reach out again for training help only when things end up getting really bad.
Some told me they tried out a bunch of training techniques they found online, and they worked for a bit until they didn’t anymore.
And trying out a bunch of dog training advice without professional guidance ‘to see what works’ can backfire in big ways and decrease your chances of achieving lasting results.
I say all of this because I don’t want this happening to you and your dog. It’s frustrating and heartbreaking.
I also want to help you avoid all of that and get right to a better life with your dog as efficiently as possible.
This means you don’t have to head down the wrong path with your dog and accidentally make them worse even though you mean the best.
If your dog stays with me for a board and train program, they will be treated like family and stay in my own home.
Instead of piling dogs into a facility, I only take on a couple of dogs at a time and give them my undivided attention.
So if you wait to reach out, it may be a couple of months before I have availability for a board and train or private training at your home.
If you’re just browsing for dog training, scoping out your options, or price shopping, what needs to happen with your dog before you want to resolve their stressful habits?
Some of my clients have decided to start training only after being dragged across the concrete on a walk, sustaining broken fingers and wrists, or spending days searching for a missing dog who won't come when called.
Do you want to leave your dog's bad habits behind for their sake and your sanity?
Reach out to me in the contact form below and share how I can help you with your dog.
It will go directly to my inbox, and I’ll contact you ASAP to set up a time for your free consultation to chat with you about your dog, the struggles you’re having, and how I can help.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Rebecca Bogdan

What good would it do to tell you what I can do without showing you? Here’s video proof of my dog training results recorded in real life.
- These dogs aren’t afraid to mess up but know when they’ve made a mistake.
- I don’t rely on treats or a remote in my hand to get them to listen.
- And my favorite thing? The dogs are HAPPY to listen, be under control, and know when they’re free (with rules).
