Your puppy stays in my Brookside, Tulsa home and lives like one of my own dogs, learning how to listen and behave in real-life situations, not in a kennel facility
I intentionally work with only one or two puppies at a time, so your puppy receives truly individualized care. That means snuggling on the sofa, relaxing in bed, and lots of affection throughout the day, paired with multiple daily training sessions and frequent socialization outings around Tulsa.
How is your Board and Train different from group classes, in-home training, or kennel facilities?
Group classes offer limited hands-on time and general advice that often doesn’t translate to your home or lifestyle vs. your puppy getting trained for you and your real life.
In-home training relies on you to do most of the training between sessions. With my board and train, the heavy lifting is done for you while your puppy learns consistent routines from day one.
Traditional kennel facilities don’t feel like home, which often slows progress with potty training, crate training, and everyday manners. Because your puppy trains in a real home environment, their training can easily transfer from my home to yours.
Will I be shown how to keep my puppy’s training once they come home?
You’ll receive clear instructions to keep your puppy’s training once they come home along with their customized daily routine designed around your schedule and household.
In-home training lessons are also included so that your puppy’s training smoothly transfers to your home and you’re confident you know how to keep their training.
Can Board and Train help with crate training, potty training, biting, sleeping through the night, and other puppy problems?
Absolutely. This puppy Board and Train program focuses on the challenges most puppy owners struggle with, including crate training, potty training, biting, jumping, and nighttime routines.
Your puppy receives consistent immersive training in real life, and you’ll learn how to maintain and continue that progress once they’re home.
Will my puppy receive one-on-one training and real-world socialization? Where do you go for socialization?
Yes. Your puppy receives one-on-one training directly with me, learning obedience and manners at home, on walks, and during socialization outings.
Puppy socialization takes place at puppy-friendly locations around Tulsa, including Gathering Place, River Parks trails, Brookside, Woodward Park, Cherry Street, Chandler Park, Whiteside Park, Downtown Tulsa, and select dog-friendly patios and public spaces.
What will my puppy learn during their boarding and training stay?
Along with addressing your top priorities, your puppy will learn crate training, potty training, and puppy obedience skills in daily life, like sit, down, recall (come), stay, no, drop it, and polite manners.
You’ll receive photos and videos updates throughout their stay so you see everything they’re learning and cute moments I catch throughout the day.
